The Image of Empathy and Becoming in 1970s Star Trek Cosplay

A small subset of images from an archive of 3000+ slides shot in NYC in 1979-81 left to me by an ex boyfriend who left town found a home in this essay. The essay addresses the Star Trek cosplay in light of my understanding of the Rosi Braidotti essay “The Ethics of Becoming Imperceptible.”
